Pt86 Upper and Lower Blepharoplasty
Procedure Details:
This patient underwent scarless transconjunctival lower eyelid blepharoplasty with fat repositioning and CO₂ laser skin resurfacing. She did not have upper eyelid surgery or blepharoplasty; however, the CO₂ laser treatment significantly improved upper eyelid skin laxity.
Pt85 Upper Blepharoplasty and Ptosis
Procedure Details:
This gentleman was bothered by droopy upper eyelids. Upon examination, he was found to have upper eyelid dermatochalasis—redundant, loose skin of the upper eyelids—and, more importantly, eyelid ptosis, which is weakness of the muscle responsible for opening the eyes. He underwent upper eyelid ptosis repair through tightening of the levator muscle, along with bilateral upper eyelid blepharoplasty to remove the excess skin.
Pt84 Upper and Lower Blepharoplasty
Procedure Details:
This patient was bothered by lower eyelid bags as well as loose skin and mild laxity of the upper eyelids. She underwent lower eyelid blepharoplasty with fat repositioning, CO₂ laser skin resurfacing, and upper eyelid blepharoplasty.
Pt83 Upper and Lower Blepharoplasty
Procedure Details:
This gentleman underwent upper eyelid blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery), as well as extended transcutaneous lower eyelid blepharoplasty with canthopexy. Not every patient is a good candidate for fat repositioning or fat transfer, particularly when there is significant skin laxity, muscle redundancy, or ligamentous looseness. In such cases, more invasive procedures—like those described above—are required to achieve optimal results.
Pt82 Lower Blepharoplasty
Procedure Details:
This young patient had been bothered for many years by dark circles under her eyes and mild lower eyelid fat herniation contributing to a tear trough deformity. She underwent lower eyelid blepharoplasty with fat repositioning and CO₂ laser skin resurfacing.
Pt81 Upper and Lower Blepharoplasty
Procedure Details:
This patient, in his early 50s, was concerned about eyelid skin laxity, under-eye bags, facial volume loss resulting in an overall tired, aged appearance that did not reflect how he felt. He underwent upper and lower eyelid blepharoplasty, canthopexy, fat transfer to the midface and upper face, and CO₂ laser skin resurfacing with nano fat. The results are natural-looking and have rejuvenated his appearance by at least 10 years. He is extremely happy with the outcome. Volume restoration through fat transfer played a key role in achieving a balanced and refreshed look.
Pt80 Upper Blepharoplasty
Procedure Details:
This patient, in her 40s, underwent bilateral upper eyelid blepharoplasty with brow fat pad sculpting to create a smooth, curvilinear eyelid platform and well-defined crease.
Pt78 Upper and Lower Blepharyplasty
Procedure Details:
Not all eyelid surgeries are performed the same way; each must be tailored to the patient’s unique anatomy and aesthetic needs. In this case, a transconjunctival lower eyelid blepharoplasty with fat transfer would not have been appropriate, as the patient had significant laxity of the skin, muscle, and supporting ligaments. Instead, the procedure required extensive skin resection along with tightening of the underlying muscle and ligamentous structures.
Pt32 Upper Blepharoplasty
Procedure Details:
Dramatic natural results can be achieved at any age with eyelid surgery. This young lady was bothered by heavy eyelids and bags making her look tired. A picture at the time of surgery is included to see the fine incision and suture line which results in no visible scars.
Pt77 Upper Blepharoplasty / CO2 Laser
Procedure Details:
This wonderful patient was concerned about loose upper eyelid skin, which made it difficult to apply makeup evenly. She underwent a customized upper eyelid blepharoplasty designed to preserve a low and natural eyelid crease. Additionally, CO2 laser skin resurfacing was performed on both the upper and lower eyelids to reduce fine lines and crow’s feet. An intraoperative photo shows metal eye shields in place to protect the eyes during the laser treatment. A one-week post-operative photo is also included, illustrating the typical bruising and swelling expected at this stage. Sutures were removed during this visit.
