What is Morpheus8?
Morpheus8 is an advanced microneedling device combined with radiofrequency technology that can be used on the face, neck, and chest. A handpiece equipped with multiple tiny needles delivers radiofrequency energy (RF) into the deep layers of the skin to stimulate collagen production and remodel deep tissues to combat
signs of aging. Natural aging, sun exposure, and other environmental factors gradually slow collagen production and break down existing collagen fibers, leading to sagging skin, wrinkles, and volume loss. By combining collagen induction therapy with RF-generated heat, Morpheus8 sets back the clock on skin aging and tightens the skin to rejuvenate healthier skin with a more youthful appearance.
Morpheus8 is a minimally invasive treatment that is safe for most skin types and all skin tones. However, patients who scar easily or have a history of bleeding problems might not be good candidates. Pregnant or breastfeeding women and people with active skin infections like cold sores or acne should also wait to receive treatment. Skin conditions that can be treated with Morpheus8 include:
- Fine lines and wrinkles
- Mild skin laxity (loose skin)
- Rough skin texture
- Hyperpigmentation
- Sun damage
- Acne scars
- Uneven skin tone and texture

The Morpheus8 Procedure
Most patients experience minimal discomfort during the Morpheus8 RF microneedling procedure. A topical numbing cream can be applied to the treatment area at the start of your procedure to keep you comfortable. Once your skin is cleansed and prepared, the microneedling device will be moved across the surface of your skin and the microneedling device will create microchannels in the skin’s surface. A mild warming sensation might be felt from the RF energy, but this is not considered painful.
Morpheus8 Recovery
There is minimal downtime and recovery after Morpheus8 treatment. Patients can return to work and most normal activities immediately after the procedure but should avoid strenuous exercise for 1-2 days and sun exposure until their skin is healed. Healthier, smoother skin will gradually resurface as your body produces more collagen.
