Who is a Good Candidate for Xeomin?

Ideal candidates for Xeomin include adults who are generally healthy, are not pregnant or breastfeeding, have realistic expectations, and are looking for nonsurgical options to address dynamic wrinkles like frown lines. It can also be a perfect option for those who have a developed a resistance to Botox and other neuromodulators or want to reduce the risk of an allergic reaction.

What to Expect from Xeomin

Xeomin treatment is relatively simple. We’ll start by cleansing the treatment area. While most patients tolerate the treatment well, we can apply topical anesthetic before your injections to ensure your comfort.

From there, your provider will inject the Xeomin into the treatment area to give you the results you’re looking for. Treatment typically takes about 20 minutes.

Aftercare

After your Xeomin injections, you’ll be able to go back to your normal routine immediately. You may experience redness, swelling, bruising, headache, and itchiness, but these effects subside relatively quickly.

To ensure the best results, you will want to move your facial muscles to evenly spread the formula. You’ll also want to avoid wearing makeup, touching or rubbing your face,  and lying down for four hours.

It typically takes about 3-4 days to start to see the results of treatment, with final results showing up after a few weeks. Results tend to last 3-4 months.
