Pt75 Upper Blepharoplasty / Revisional Eyelid Surgery

Procedure Details:

This beautiful patient had previously undergone upper eyelid blepharoplasty, or Asian eyelid surgery, performed elsewhere. However, she was unhappy with the results due to eyelid crease asymmetry, a smaller appearance of the left eye, and an unsatisfactory lid crease position. She underwent revisional bilateral upper eyelid blepharoplasty with ptosis repair.

This patient had aggressive upper and lower eyelid blepharoplasty at another clinic where too much fat was removed. She was not happy with the surgical outcome because her eyes appeared to be hollowed and “bulging out“. She also had functional problems related to the lower eyelid retraction (dry eyes, irritation, redness). Repair of lower eyelid retraction with fat injection was performed. The natural appearance of her eyes was restored and her symptoms of dryness and irritation were resolved.

This patient had cosmetic lower eyelid surgery performed in another state. The right lower eyelid was retracted down and was causing irritation and was not moving when looking up. Revisional surgery with additional fat grafting was performed to fix the eyelid position.

Pt13 Revisional Eyelid Surgery

Procedure Details:

This patient previously underwent lower eyelid blepharoplasty by another surgeon, where too much skin was removed, resulting in lower eyelids rolling out (ectropion). As a result, she was not able to close her eyes, along with significant pain and irritation. To restore proper eyelid function and appearance, skin grafts from the upper eyelids were used to repair the lower eyelids. The procedure yielded excellent aesthetic and reconstructive outcomes, fully resolving her symptoms and allowing her to close her eyes comfortably.

Pt2 Revisional Eyelid Surgery

Procedure Details:

This patient was suffering from bilateral lower eyelid retraction. Unfortunately, she was not able to close her eyes all the way resulting in dryness, redness, pain and irritation. She had undergone lower eyelid blepharoplasty at another institution where too much skin was removed. Surgical correction necessitated the use of skin grafts to the lower eyelids. She had a successful outcome and now she is able to close her eyes and her symptoms of dryness and irritation have completely resolved.

Pt3 Revisional Eyelid Surgery

Procedure Details:

This patient had a major complication from lower eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) performed by another surgeon. He had significant scarring of the lower eyelids resulting in ectropion (eyelids pulling away from the eye). He was complaining of redness, and irritation especially in the right eye. He had surgical correction which included release of scar tissue and canthoplasty. The form and function of the lower eyelid were restored.

Pt4 Revisional Eyelid Surgery

Procedure Details:

Right lower eyelid ectropion (eyelid pulling away from the eyeball) and cheek scaring were corrected by performing canthoplasty, release of scar tissue and placement of skin graft taken from the left upper eyelid. Additional fat injection and nano fat micro-needling were performed to restore the volume and improve the skin texture.

Pt5 Revisional Eyelid Surgery

Procedure Details:

This patient had previously undergone upper eyelid surgery x 2 at another institution. She was not happy with the asymmetric appearance of her eyes as well as abnormal contour of the upper eyelids. Revisional upper eyelid blepharoplasty and ptosis repair was performed to restore the symmetry and natural smooth contour of the upper eyelids.
