Harness your body’s natural healing properties.
What is EZ Gel?
EZ gel is our trusted choice for PRF gel (platelet-rich fibrin). PRF is similar to PRP (platelet-rich plasma) but it has a denser fibrin scaffold that allows for slower, more potent release of stem cells, platelets, and white blood cells. Stem cells and white blood cells contain a wealth of healing and growth factors that can dramatically rejuvenate aging or damaged skin. EZ gel also harnesses exosomes (mesenchymal stem cells) and leukocytes (white blood cells that fight infection) for added tissue regeneration and long-lasting skin health. The gel is
derived from each patient’s own blood, which is spun at a lower speed than PRP retrieval, to gain more platelets and preserve the beneficial fibrin structures. EZ Gel can be used for skin rejuvenation or hair loss treatments. The growth factors encourage tissue regeneration and repair of damaged skin cells on the surface to improve skin texture and tone. For hair loss treatment, the hair follicles are stimulated to encourage new growth of healthy hair.
Would You Benefit from EZ Gel?
Since EZ gel is completely natural, almost all patients can benefit from this rejuvenating treatment. However, we may recommend another treatment if you have a history of bleeding problems or an active skin infection. EZ gel can improve a variety of skin concerns, from signs of aging to uneven skin tone and texture. Some of the most common conditions that can be addressed include:
- Fine lines and wrinkles
- Volume loss
- Dark circles under the eyes
- Rough skin texture
- Hyperpigmentation and sun damage
The EZ Gel Procedure
EZ gel can be administered as an injectable or used during microneedling treatments to penetrate the deeper skin layers. Both forms of PRF treatment are minimally invasive and require three steps. First, patients receive a blood draw through an IV in their arm. A vial of blood is retrieved and spun in a centrifuge to separate the PRF from other blood components. Once the EZ gel is prepared, it is transferred to a syringe for use in PRF treatments.
EZ Gel Recovery
There is minimal downtime and recovery after PRF injections with EZ Gel. Mild swelling, bruising, and redness around the injection site are common but will improve within a few days. Swelling can take 1-2 weeks to completely settle. As the PRF stimulates collagen and elastin production, you will see gradual improvements in your skin’s texture, tone, and overall quality.
