What is Morpheus8?

The Morpheus8 Procedure

Our licensed laser technicians guide the handpiece, featuring twenty-four tiny needles, across the skin. These needles make micro-wounds in the skin to trigger the natural healing response without causing any substantial, superficial harm. However, the micro-wounds are sufficient enough to cause your body to increase its production of collagen and elastin. Over time, these proteins add youthful fullness to your skin and aid in tissue retraction.

Morpheus8 treatment is far superior to a standard microneedling treatment due to radiofrequency energy delivery. This triggers fibroplasia, the process in which the body forms new fibrous tissue, and stimulates the production of collagen, causing collagen fibers to become shorter and more tense. At the same time, the molecules that makeup collagen are left undamaged. Skin elasticity increases, and loose, sagging skin is tightened. Additionally, the heat from RF can reach deeper layers of the dermis, which makes it most successful at smoothing the texture of your skin and diminishing acne scarring.

Morpheus8 Recovery

Because it is non-invasive, Morpheus8 requires minimal downtime. Your skin may appear somewhat red and irritated for a few days, but you are free to resume your normal activities, including work, as soon as your treatment is finished. After 24 hours, you may begin to wear makeup to conceal any lingering redness. Be sure to wear sunscreen anytime you are outdoors because your skin is especially sensitive following treatment– also, avoid direct sun exposure during the first 24 hours.

Morpheus8 Results

It generally takes several weeks before you start to see the positive effects of Morpheus8. Results are not instantaneous because your body gradually increases collagen production, which smooths your skin. The best results can be seen about three months after your treatment.
