Pt60 Upper and Lower Blepharoplasty

Procedure Details:

This lovely patient has significant laxity of her upper and lower eyelids as well as bags and circles under her eyes. She had an upper eyelid lift (blepharoplasty).  Since she had a significant amount of lower eyelid laxity, an external incision (transcutaneous) approach was used. This is also called extensive or deep plane blepharoplasty, where the excessive loose skin is removed, the fat pads are repositioned, and the muscle and ligaments are tightened ( canthoplasty). Note the smooth lower eyelid/cheek contour achieved with this procedure.

Revisional Asian blepharoplasty. This patient had previously undergone upper eyelid surgery elsewhere and was not happy with the results. She underwent revisional eyelid surgery. As well as a lower eyelid blepharoplasty with fat grafting.

Procedure Details:

This patient, in his early 50s, was concerned about eyelid skin laxity, under-eye bags, facial volume loss resulting in an overall tired, aged appearance that did not reflect how he felt. He underwent upper and lower eyelid blepharoplasty, canthopexy, fat transfer to the midface and upper face, and CO₂ laser skin resurfacing with nano fat. The results are natural-looking and have rejuvenated his appearance by at least 10 years. He is extremely happy with the outcome. Volume restoration through fat transfer played a key role in achieving a balanced and refreshed look.

This patient underwent scarless transconjunctival lower eyelid blepharoplasty with fat repositioning and CO₂ laser skin resurfacing. She did not have upper eyelid surgery or blepharoplasty; however, the CO₂ laser treatment significantly improved upper eyelid skin laxity.
